Answering the Future Needs

As the big player in coal mining industry either national or international scope, Arutmin Indonesia  maintains its commitment to always improve and intensify the work performance from time to tine. This commitment is not only aimed to keep Company's good reputation among stakeholders and shareholders, but also to guarantee optimum performance of the existing resources so that all planned targets -production, efficiency, environment targets- to safety matter could be succesfully achieved.

In relation to that matter, steps for optimizing work performance have been conducted by Arutmin Indonesia since its first operation in coal mining until the recent period oftime. One of the main focuses is infrastructure development in Asam-Asam and Mulia.

Intensifying productivity and efficiency

Basically, the infrastructure development in the mining area of Asam-Asam is aimed to intensify production and optimize efficiency. This development is extremely strategic for Arutmin Indonesia's Future and it is set up to fulfill the coal production increase of ArutminIndonesia  in the years to come.

Arutmin Indonesia is one coal producers to State Electricity Enterprise (PLN) for the first step 10.000-Megawatt program. For this demand, Arutmin Indonesia  is obliged to provide more or less 10 million tons of coals yearly supplied gradually starting the year of 2010.

For Arutmin Indonesia, the infrastucture development is very crucial and strategic. Instead of being able to increase coal production in large quantity, it also could press down operational cost in order to be more efficient. Therefore, Arutmin Indonesia would gain benefit from the cost saving. The developed infrastructure to be is building up coal terminal, overland conveyor (OLC) and coal processing plan (CPP)

Arutmin's Future

The preparation and the building have been initially started. The infrastructure development in Asam-Asam and Mulia is targetted to be fully accomplished in the year of 2010. Therefore, every set-up target would go normally as it is planned.

When every thing goes as it is planned, Arutmin Indonesia will gain cost saving and efficiency. Its production capacity will increase as well due to no more obstacles in hauling and coal terminal. Domestic Market and Export require coals as energy resources; therefore the infrastructure development has become an answer and also Arutmin Indonesia's readiness in fulfilling of those needs.
