Graduates Development Program

A. OBJECTIVES

  1. Providing graduates with a comprehensive practical work competencies which are usually very insufficient though event at the university level.
  2. Providing general industrial experience, and specific technical competencies about working professionalism in the world class coal mining industry.
  3. To equip the graduates with the valuable knowledge in order to become potential professionals for future requirement.
  4. To improve the graduate knowledge by providing an interdisciplinary working system.

B. GENERAL PROCESS

  1. The graduates will be given continuous, intensive, comprehensive, individual and flexible training, minimum for 1 years and maximum 2 years, depending on individual performance.
  2. On the Job and Off The Job Training in order to improve their technical management, leadership and working attitude.
  3. Intersites and interdepartmental rotation system will be applied, and competency development will be under the responsibility of the Area Superintendent.
  4. Graduates are expected to produce a presentation of their competencies development. This presentation must be delivered to the Area Superintendent, and among the graduates and coordinator.
  5. By the end of this Program the graduates are expected to have the general and specifics competencies in coal mining industry

C. RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Recruitment process for Graduate Development Program (GDP) candidates will involve the following requirement:

  1. High Educational Achievement.
  2. Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  3. Passed the selection procedures i.e.:
    • Interview with HRD and User.
    • Aptitude Test.
    • Medical Check up.
    • English Test.
    • Site visit.
