Arutmin Achieves Green Category Award in PROPER 2009

PT Arutmin Indonesia was awarded Green Category Award in PROPER 2009, an environmental management award for the period of 2008-2009. The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Jusuf Kalla, handed over the award in Jakarta on October 15th, 2009.

PT Arutmin Indonesia stood among forty one companies that were awarded Green Category Award in corporate performance evaluation program (PROPER) in term of environmental management. The State Ministry of Environmental Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia served the program evaluation every year since 2002.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Arutmin Indonesia Faisal Firdaus was honored to receive the award. The award was dedicated to one of Arutmin's mine sites in South Kalimantan, Senakin Mine. Since four years ago, Senakin Mine has received Blue Award in the evaluation program.
